BAPTISM

Are you interested in being baptized this year? If so, we'd love to connect with you! Fill out this short survey to help us in our planning.

If you have questions about baptism at HBIC or in general, feel free to email Pastor Hank or connect with any of the pastors on staff.

During 2023, the HBIC Missions Ministry Team is highlighting a different Missionary of the Month, helping the congregation to know more about their work and inviting special prayer for them throughout the month.

For the month of February, please join in praying especially for Jesse Stowell as he serves in campus ministry at HACC and at Harrisburg University with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

As a Campus Minister, Jesse helps to plant and grow ministry among students. The new fellowship at Harrisburg University this year started through prayer and connections at HBIC! Jesse invests his time growing communities of Kingdom-oriented students on campus by developing student leaders, helping students to investigate Jesus, and focusing on practical needs like transportation, friendship, and housing. You can read more about Jesse's ministry in his most recent newsletter.

Click here to access a number of specific prayer requests for Jesse, along with his contact info to send a note of encouragement.

(Touch base with Pastor Lynda or others on the Missions Ministry Team if you'd like to know more about any of the missionaries sent out from HBIC.)

BLOOD DRIVE

Your blood donation has the power to save a life! On March 10th from 10:30am - 3pm, we will be hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross. You can find a more detailed flyer here.

YOUTH AUCTION

It's the time of year when our youth are beginning preparations toward their summer mission trip! This year, we are traveling to Belize to experience God in a third world context and to support and learn from the local church community there! Our primary support for our mission trip comes from our annual Youth Auction.

This year our auction will be Friday, April 21st and we welcome all of our congregation to consider items/services to be donated. Some favorite items historically given have been baked goods, services rendered (making a meal, babysitting, etc.) and household items. Pastor Brie will be collecting items through April 9th (for baked items or services, please let Pastor Brie know the intended donation by that date). Look for blue donation slips to hand in with your item/s. Feel free to contact Pastor Brie with any questions. Thank you so much for your support as we look forward to a favorite church family event!

WOMEN'S MINISTRY RETREAT & SURVEY

Women's Ministry will be going on a retreat from Friday, April 28th at 5pm to Sunday, April 30th at noon! We will have the pleasure of hearing from our keynote speaker, Kerry Hoke, as she leads us through this contemplative retreat focused on finding true rest in God.

Our goal is for each woman to leave this retreat feeling more deeply connected to God and each other, and with a few more tools in their spiritual toolbelt. All women are invited to attend! The retreat will be held at Kenbrook Bible Camp (190 Pine Meadow Rd, Lebanon, PA 17046). Sign up online here, or feel free to contact Pastor Carmen with any questions.

In addition, Women's Ministry is going through a time of revitalization and needs your input! Click here to fill out a survey with your thoughts for the future of this ministry, or ask Pastor Carmen for a paper copy.
