Happy July!
It's Disability Pride Month

The Americans With Disabilities Act was passed 32 years ago on July 26th, 1990. That same year, Boston became the first city to celebrate Disability Pride Day with a parade, and thus, Disability Pride Month was born! Since then, Disability Pride events have been held across the country and the world every year.

This year, Chicago's parade will take place on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:00a.m., starting at Plymouth Court and Van Buren Street, and end at the Daley Center, where there will be a program and resources. If you are thinking of joining the fun, see below for registration information.

Client Spotlight
"When we were recommended to Katie Clancy, we were impressed with her credentials.

Katie began our meeting by asking our son what his wants and needs were. We immediately saw her breadth of knowledge, her level of compassion and her ability to suggest next step options.

Our son’s special needs trust is now in order as well as the guidelines for his future. I personally feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders, we couldn’t recommend anyone more wholeheartedly."
