Graduation Photos
Congratulations to the Class of 2022!  If you'd like to access a link to the photos from this year's ceremony, then please visit gradphotonetwork.com. Search using EVENT NAME and enter BELLAIRE (nothing else!) and the link comes up for this year's ceremony. Once you click it, you'll be asked the graduate's last name and it's self-explanatory after that.  

Also - SENIORS - a final transcript was included in your diploma packet at graduation. Next week we will also be sending a copy of your transcript to your HISD email address so that you can save a copy of your transcript electronically.
Final Report Cards
Report Cards for Cycle 6 were sent to students' HISD email addresses this week. Please check your email for your report card.
Summer STAAR Testing
We will have another STAAR testing administration from June 21st to June 23rd. Currently enrolled Bellaire students that were absent for their scheduled STAAR tests in April or May, can sign up to take their missed tests this June. Additionally, students that need to retest may also sign up to take the STAAR tests in June. 
 
Please complete the form below indicating that you will be coming to Pin Oak Middle School to take your STAAR test(s).

Summer Visual Arts Assignments
Students enrolled in Visual Arts classes for the 2022-2023 school year should click this link to access summer assignments. If you need to reference them later in the summer they can also be located on the homepage of the Bellaire website.
AP Exam Results
AP scores will be available to students on the student AP scores website starting Tuesday, July 5. Students should log-in to their College Board Accounts to view scores.
Need a V.O.E. over the Summer for DPS?
Please visit Bellaire.org and look under Helpful Links on the left side of the home page. Click on V.O.E. for DPS and submit the form. A V.O.E. will be sent to the student's HISD email address.
Back to School Check-In
Mark your calendars! Mid-August we will be ready to distribute laptops and schedules to all students so that they are ready to go on the first day of school.
Cardinal Camp Registration - IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE INFORMATION
Cardinal Camp is our 1-day orientation program for incoming freshmen. Cardinal Camp is student-led and orients students to our campus and connects them with upperclassmen and organizations on campus.

Due to an update with our construction schedule, Cardinal Camp has been moved to Friday, August 12th from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. Laptop pick-up for 9th-grade students will be August 19th from 9:00 am-12:00pm and 1:00pm - 3:30pm. We are excited to be able to offer Cardinal Camp a week earlier and a separate day for laptop pickup for our freshmen!

Rising Seniors - Senior Yearbook Pictures #ClassOf2023
It’s time to start thinking about your senior yearbook portraits. Summer is a great time to get those taken care of so you can guarantee you’ll be included in the yearbook.
 
Next year, CADY Studios will be the Bellaire portrait company. Here is a video that introduces CADY.
 
A few important things:
  • You must take portraits through CADY in order to be included in the 2023 Carillon yearbook. You’ll have a choice between road shoots (two days CADY comes to Bellaire to photograph) or visiting their studio at Richmond and Wilcrest. Because the studio offers more options in terms of services, including backdrops and poses, and the limited number of on-campus spots, I strongly recommend you book a spot at the studio.
  • Please fill out this information form for CADY. This will allow them to send you appointment reminders, proofs and more. (While we did pass along the information the school has on file, we know you may have changed phone numbers or email addresses since then.)
  • For comparisons of the optional packages CADY offers, you can visit the Bellaire Carillon page dedicated to senior portraits. This page also has information on booking your portrait.
  • You will notice there is a sitting fee associated with taking your photo. This is in part to discourage no-shows, which we have had a huge problem with in the past. Students have booked and missed multiple appointments, then we run out of times when we get close to the portrait deadline. The GOOD news is this sitting fee is applied to any order that you place. (This wasn’t the case in the past.) You’ll receive a coupon code when you get your proofs. If this fee is going to cause a barrier to you getting your picture taken, please reach out to me ASAP.

Remind Messaging App
All parents and students are encouraged to join their BHS Class Remind Group. Remind is a communication tool that will deliver important communications through text message or email. You can download Remind for IOS here and Android here. Once you download the app, simply text the class code you belong to above to the number 81010.

In addition to the class codes above, students will have the opportunity to receive communication and correspond with their teachers through the Remind App.
