It's Time for Valentine's Care Packages
It's time for Valentine's Care Packages for our college and military kids. More than ever, this is a great time to show that Christ Church is thinking about them, and that God loves them!
You can help
  • We need your help reaching Church families with students away at school or the military. If you know of any 2021 graduates, or church family in the military, send us a note with their information.
  • Donate store bought food, individually wrapped. Gum, candy, chips, granola bars, fruit snacks, cookies, brownies, hot cocoa, (2 dozen of any item)
  • Contact Kim or Ginny to arrange a drop off, or you can drop off to the Church office.
  • If you prefer to make a monetary donation, send a check to Kim Rutherford 28 Lincoln Street Dedham MA 02026 or Venmo @Kim-Rutherford-9 (this is helpful as we will purchase snacks and pay for postage)
  • Valentines Cards. Are there kids out there that would like to make some cards? A few home made cards will be sent with each care package.
  • We are collecting until February 7th.
We appreciate the support!

Epiphany Party\on SUnday, January 30 after Church
Join us immediately after Church on Sunday, January 30 for a special short Epiphany Party! There will be Epiphany-focused crafts and activities, ending with a speedy prayer service. In the spirit of Epiphany, we invite you to bring a gift for Baby Jesus, in the form of a book or financial donation for Storytime Crafts, an organization collecting books for underserved children, newly relocated to Christ Church. Learn more about them here. We will party in the Upper Parish Hall and close in the main sanctuary. This will be fun for any age, 3 to 83! So do bring the whole family. Masks will be mandatory the entire time, and there will be no eating, to make it safe for everyone.

"Circles of Caring" Now Forming
Do you like making phone calls? Do you long to connect with other members of the community? Are you looking for a way to engage in ministry at Christ Church without having to leave the comfort of your home? If so, we invite you to consider joining our new “Circles of Caring” ministry. The goal of this ministry is to ensure that every member of the Christ Church community receives regular check-ins from the parish, if desired. Calls will be made quarterly by a ministry team member to a small group of (no more than 10) parishioners. This team will meet periodically for training, support and to communicate any needs from the parish to the Pastoral Response Ministry (PRM) team for follow up. If this sounds like a ministry for you, or if you have any questions, please let Nick now by emailing him at nick@ccneedham.org.
