Are you interested in being a Room Parent at Greenbriar?
Each classroom at Greenbriar has two room parents who work together to support the teacher throughout the year. Room parents facilitate communication between the teacher and parents in the classroom by sharing PTO news, introducing themselves to the class on Curriculum Night, collecting parent contact information, and gathering parent volunteers for class parties and field trips. Room parents also have the option to organize holiday and end of the year group gifts for the teacher and teacher’s assistant in the class. Greenbriar loves our room parents!
Please click here to fill out the room parent interest form for next school year 2023-2024.
*Room Parents are notified of their assignments at the beginning of August.

County Fair is a beloved Greenbriar tradition. This end-of-year celebration will include games, inflatables, cake-walk, DJ, food etc. For those of you who haven’t experienced the County Fair, it’s an amazing family night at Greenbriar. County Fair is scheduled for Wednesday May 24, 2023 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, with a rain date of May 25, 2023. We invite families who wish to join the fun and explore the County Fair in a less crowded, more sensory-friendly environment to join us from 5:00-5:30pm. It's an evening of fun for the whole family! For Greenbriar students, teachers and families. County Fair is NOT a drop-off event. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c48acad2ca4fe3-greenbriar1#/
What is a cake walk? Cake walk takes place in the gym at County Fair and is a beloved tradition. We will be asking for volunteers to donate store-bought or homemade cakes. Numbers are placed on the floor as music plays and kids walk in a circle. When the music stops, a volunteer picks a number out of a hat, and the child standing on the number called gets to choose a cake. The kids love winning and choosing their cakes to bring home!
