Seacoast Science Center Developing New Vision for Visitor Experience
Matt Kirchman is working with the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, New Hampshire, to develop a new vision for the visitors’ experience. The Center (originally built just feet from the crashing surf) is investigating a new construction project in response to rising sea levels. The project provides opportunity for the institution to re-evaluate its mission and values, and incentive for the planning team to investigate how to better interpret the ecology and culture of the Seacoast region and the history of people’s relationship to the environment.
