Calling for Volunteers for the Educational Enhancement Committee
We still have open positions to coordinate Educational Enhancement programs: Academic Challenge, After School Programs, International Spanish Academy (ISA), 5th Grade Math Olympiad, Reflections, Spanish Immersion Through the Arts (SITA), and more.
These are great opportunities to enrich our students' experience!
Note that the Flamenco teacher already contacted us about running classes, but we need a volunteer to help coordinate. We will not be able to run the programs for which we do not have volunteers. Puesta del Sol Announcement: Please join us on Thursday, December 9th at 6:30 for our virtual Kindergarten Information Night. A meeting link will be available closer to the event.
Choice School Entry Level Lottery Applications for incoming K (current P-4) and incoming 6th grade (current 5th grade) students for the 2022-23 school year will be accepted beginning Monday December 6, 2021. The application period will close Friday January 14, 2022 at 4:30 pm. Visit our Apply to Choice Schools and Programs page for more information.

Jessica Fenton, a kindergarten parent, will be telling the impactful story of her grandparents' survival from the Holocaust. The live virtual presentation will include documents, videos and photos from her grandparents' lives and time for discussion. Jessica is a legacy speaker for the Holocaust Center for Humanity. Meet our new Amity Intern: Paula Jimenez |
Hi everybody!
I’m Paula. I have 26 years old. I was born in Fontellas, a little village in the North of Spain. I’m an adventurous person so I love discovering new things to do. In my free time I go to the cinema, go hiking, go to the gym, read books and so on.
I studied primary and kindergarten education degree and nowadays, I continue with a masters. Also, I love cooking different cultural dishes overall Mexican and Italian food. Moreover, I love travelling and I’ve visited some European countries like Italy, Luxemburg, Croatia and so on. I am enchanted to participate as Amity and I’m too thankful to Puesta School and my host families.
