The Youth Development request for proposals (RFP) grant applications are scheduled to be released in October 2022.

The Children’s Trust is looking for volunteers for the 2022 Family Expo events in late July and early August. The Expo is the largest family resources exposition in Miami-Dade County bringing resources, information and provider agencies to the communities that most need them. In this virtual training, certified teachers learn how to use reading assessment data from the ORF and Maze to identify struggling readers and develop reading intervention plans unique to each student. Certified teachers will also learn how to create a plan of action to differentiate reading instruction. Please register for this training on Trust Academy. The COVID-19 Mental Health and Wellness Program II© (CMHWPII) is in its second iteration to serve the Miami-Dade community. COVID-19 continues to impact our lives and the CMHWPII is designed to survey and provide resources to those in need of information and services on their “Path to Wellness.” The program exists to assist Miami-Dade County’s essential workers and residents with navigating the myriad of challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic – focusing on the broad spectrum of mental health-related issues commonly associated with disasters and pandemics.

In this new course, accessible through the Trust Academy Course Catalog, participants learn how Project-Based Learning (PBL) can be used to engage youth by connecting them with real-world experiences, motivating them to solve problems in their communities, and exposing youth to a wide range of career options. When Youth Development staff support & guide youth through PBL, their youth participants will have more opportunities to use creativity, learn meaningful skills, practice problem solving, and become leaders.

The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for assisting the Communications team with all forms of digital and traditional media, with a primary focus on social media and website content updates. The Digital Media Specialist will be the primary executor of social media strategies as directed by the Communications Director and the Media Manager. The incumbent will also work with marketing and public relations consultants, as assigned. Under the guidance of the Media Manager, the incumbent will have creative latitude to develop written content, support ad buys and other marketing strategies, will have the opportunity to cultivate media stories, and will assist with web content development. Annual salary is $48,668. 

The Information and Data Technology (IDT) Director position directs the overall leadership, strategy and management of the information and data technology initiatives undertaken to support the vision, leadership, and goals of The Children’s Trust. The IDT Director ensures the continuous delivery of responsive systems to ensure timely and accurate data to maximize financial, strategic, and operational goals. The incumbent directs and coordinates the planning, implementation, and integration of:

The Information and Data Technology Director reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Work performance is reviewed by the COO through conferences, reports and observations of results achieved.

The Children's Trust’s Information Technology (IT) team is responsible to implement strategically aligned solutions to increase the use of information to support decision-making to meet financial, strategic, and operational goals. The IT team supports all departments throughout The Trust, and its community networks and provider partnerships. The IT Manager's role is to collaborate and engage with systems and report developers throughout the development cycle to ensure that user requirements are met. Testing is a vital part of the development lifecycle and is critical to meeting user requirements and delivering quality solutions in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The Children’s Trust ecosystem provides support for staff to work with full functionality whether onsite or remote. The IT Manager implements the security measures in alignment with cybersecurity strategy and coordinates risk mitigation activities. The IT Manager serves as the contract manager for IT contracts. This role requires exceptional communication, coordination, and organizational problem-solving skills.

The Program Manager position manages the full life cycle of assigned funded program(s) and services located throughout Miami-Dade County. This position requires occasional non-traditional work hours (weekends and evenings) and reliable transportation. This professional position will support the Programs Management Team in implementing strategies that foster collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are delivered in accordance with The Children’s Trust standards and latest evidence-based practices. S/he is responsible for utilizing change management, knowledge, skills, and behaviors to promote continuous quality improvement throughout the assigned contracts and projects. This person will be assigned a caseload of contracts and may serve as initiative/project lead.

The Solutions Specialist executes on solutions design in response to business priorities and vetted requirements. This position conducts unit testing and validates use cases to ensure solution aligns with requirements. This position maintains and implements routine solutions under the guidance of senior data team members. The position is a key business/technical resource for staff. As emerging technologies develop, the Solution Specialist is expected to learn these technologies quickly, assess their impact and identify user needs to assist with integrating new technologies with The Trust’s systems. The Solution Specialist works with senior department staff to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization and to implement solutions that enable The Trust to achieve its information-based strategic and operational goals. Works collaboratively as a member of the solutions team and may work on diverse technical solutions including supporting all department functions.

The Technology and Data Specialist reports to the IT Manager and is responsible for providing data and technical support to members of the Data Team and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing support to augment the services provided by The Trust’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) partner, assisting with on-site or hybrid meetings utilizing technology, triaging and troubleshooting tickets as they are submitted for Data Team support, and configuring routine requests based on validated requirements. Performance is reviewed through meetings, reports, and observation of results achieved.

The Research and Evaluation Analyst is a critical member of both cross- and inter-departmental teams at The Children’s Trust who engages in proactive problem-solving and critical thinking/analysis related to the design and effectiveness of various child, youth and family services. Primary responsibilities include: contributing to effective program and systems designs for The Children’s Trust’s priority investments in child, youth and family services; designing and maintaining sound data collection tools and systems to capture meaningful program, operational and community data in a user-friendly, accessible manner; and analyzing and making meaning from available data to tell our stories using compelling visualizations and reports, with an intentional focus on the specific audience and purpose of the message.

Full-time position to provide varied secretarial, accounting and organizational work. Provide services for administrators and schools that is necessary for the operation of organization. Employee should be organized, self-directed, display independent initiative and judgement as it relates to job assignments. Qualifications: High School Diploma
