Dear Lowell Community Health Center Patients and Friends:
I know that we are all pained by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ensuing humanitarian crisis, which has many of us aching for the Ukrainian people.
We recognize that this current situation, the devastating images and news stories, and the plight of Ukrainian refugees scattered across Europe, might affect our community, patients, and staff in different ways. The impact may cause feelings of stress, anxiety, trauma, confusion, frustration, sadness, and depression. For those of you who have fled violence in their home countries, this crisis can bring back painful memories and feelings.
We also acknowledge and condemn the racism occurring among Black residents fleeing Ukraine. We must stand for peace, justice, and safety for all refugees leaving Ukraine.
During this time of great unrest, let us treat one another with an extra dose of compassion and kindness. Please remember that we are here for you. Do not hesitate to reach out to your provider if you need help. You can call 978.937.9700 to make an appointment.

Reconhecemos que esta situação atual, as notícias e imagens devastadoras, e a penúria dos refugiados ucranianos espalhados por toda a Europa, podem afetar a nossa comunidade, os nossos pacientes e o nosso pessoal de maneiras diferentes.
