March: Fitness Challenge

GET MOVING!

According to the American Heart Association, adults should get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes per week of vigorous aerobic activity (or a combination of both), preferably spread throughout the week.

Get moving in March! Achieving 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week is easier than you think and we are here to help motive you to make it happen. Each week in March we will check in to see how close to the 150 minute goal you got and with every weekly entry opportunity, you will be entered into a drawing for one of the following prizes:

  • Road ID Gift Card
  • Fitness Mat/Yoga Mat
  • Grip-Free Insulated Hydration Flask
  • Clip-on LED Safety Light

Being Active Can Improve Your Overall Health

Dr. Jamie Harrison and Dr. Jennifer Lovegreen of SoutheastHEALTH explain how being active just a few minutes a day can improve your overall health.

Prizes are awarded each month as you complete a simple health-related challenge like adding color to your diet and taking the stairs at work.
