A joyful heart is good medicine...
Proverbs 17:22
Today is April 1st. April Fools Day, anyone? Here at the Daily Moment, we'd thought we'd try to fool you with a game called "Bible or Not?" Below are ten verses. Five of them are from the Bible, and five of them are not. Can you figure out which is which? (Answers at the bottom of this email.)
1) “God moves in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform."
2) "His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior."
3) "Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout, is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion."
4) "We can stand affliction better than we can prosperity, for in prosperity we forget God."
5) "This above all: to thine own self be true; And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man."
6) "Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead."
7) “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
8) "And though in all lands, love is now mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater."
9) "Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn, coming up from the washing. Each has its twin; not one of them is alone."
10) "When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red.'"
