- Do you like to help other students? Are you flexible, thoughtful, empathetic, a good communicator, approachable and enjoy meeting new people? If so, you should come to the Ambassador Club Informational meeting on Monday, February 7th at 3:10 pm and Tuesday, February 8th at 7:30 am in the Auditorium. Applications are due by March 1st by 3 pm and can be found on the Student Activities website or from a QR Code on the Counseling Office front window.
- Tonight is the night! Tonight at 7 p.m., come watch the no-holds-barred grudge match between Hinsdale Central's finest improv stars. This completely unscripted comedy show is new each night. The show is run in conjunction with Chicago ComedySportz, a professional improv company in Chicago. The show is hosted by an ensemble member of this professional improv company. Tickets are $10 at the door or free with your activity pass. If you can't make it tonight (Thursday or Friday), there is one last show on Saturday at 5 p.m.
- Has all this snow got you ready to head to Bikini Bottom? Let's have the best day ever and audition for Spongebob the Broadway Musical next week! Spongebob, Patrick and Sandy must save Bikini Bottom from an apocalyptic volcano - and Squidward has a tap number! Those interested should sign up for an audition slot on the bulletin board outside of 249. You'll prepare a short song and monologue and perform that Monday or Tuesday, Feb. 7 or 8. Then, everyone will come Wednesday, Feb. 9 for a brief choreography audition - it's easy and no experience is required. Come have fun with us and play at our first fully live, in-person musical theater in three years.
- Attention seniors!! Class of 2022 shirt sales are open! Orders can be placed online up until Feb. 14th, and we have both T-shirt and hoodie options. Be sure to check your email for the information you need to order or check out the flyers posted around the school. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ms. Saunders or Mrs. Cotter. Let’s go senior class!!
- Do you love nothing Bundt cakes? Who doesn’t?! Senior Crew is bringing Nothing Bundt cakes to you! From 7 AM to 8 AM on Friday, February 11th. Make sure to bring your appetite to the sales tables outside of the cafeteria; these cakes go fast!
- Do you have an idea for a business? Come to our next Entrepreneurship Club meeting on Monday, February 7 at 8:15 AM in Room 231 to learn more information about our upcoming Shark Tank event. You will develop and present your idea in front of a panel of judges of experienced entrepreneurs. The best presentations earn prizes! All are welcome to come.
