God has been so good to us

A view of the mountains from the home of Binsa, one of our ladies. Her story is told in the book 'Come with me to Kathmandu'.

Dear Supporters,

We know that the cost-of-living crisis means times are tough for many of you. We're writing to let you know that God has been good to us. If you need to pause or reduce your support to WWR, we understand and are in an excellent position to enable you to do this.

Most of you should be able to amend your payment to us yourselves, but please let us know if you need help. We'd also be grateful if you could let us know if you intend to reduce your payment so we know that an error hasn't been made. Please email trustees@wwr-nepal.org.

Thank you!

Anna, Marilyn, Jan and Nic

Municipality Meeting

Our staff were invited to participate in a meeting for Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) in the Mahalaxmi municipality; this is where our new women's home is located. As well as receiving training, our staff shared about WWR and our activities. They were warmly commended for their efforts. Well done, ladies.

In our November newsletter, we asked you to pray for one of our ladies who had disappeared. Unfortunately, she is still missing, so we'd appreciate your continued prayers for her.

It's not long until the launch of Anna's book about 12 ladies that WWR is involved with.

The launch will take place on Saturday 18th, March; the time in your location is given in the image above, but do get in touch if there is any confusion: anna@wwr-nepal.org

We will be using Microsoft Teams for the launch; you DO NOT need to download an app to join and can simply use a browser.

The link to join the book launch is: https://teams.live.com/meet/9446240820389

In the meantime, if you'd like to know more, there is an interview with Anna available here. It was aired on UCB2 radio on 7th February and is 40 minutes long.

If you live in Virginia, Carol Bryant at Peninsula Community Chapel will have copies. Thank you Carol.

How to buy 'Come with me to Kathmandu.'

Anna has heaps of copies she needs to sell, so if you can, please buy from her! She's in Belgium at the moment, and in April, she will be doing a 'DIY book tour' and will be visiting Portsmouth, Westward Ho!, Wiltshire, Bournemouth and Bristol. There may be another short tour in June to Chipping Campden and Aldershot.

Anyone in Alabama?

If you're near Huntsville, then Jenny Yeager will be selling copies. She is also hosting a book launch watch party at Lincoln Village. Thank you to Rivertree church for providing breakfast and to Jenny for organising everything!

For those of you in Nepal, Jim and Therese Barron, at KICC will have copies to sell, though these may take a while to arrive in the country.

If you live somewhere else and would like to support an independent Christian bookseller, then please order your copy here:

For everyone else, then Amazon is your go-to!

Thank you for bearing with all this information; we're thankful for your support, and if you buy it, we hope you enjoy the book.
