Today is the first day of BAV’s Market Match Fund campaign! With your help, we are raising $30,000 during the month of April to support local farmers, farmers markets, and our neighbors.

If you donate soon, your giving will go further. Thanks to a generous donor, the first $10,000 raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar!

BAV’s Market Match Fund builds community by ensuring consistent SNAP matching at farmers markets. This centralized fund empowers Berkshire-area farmers markets to offer $1-to-$1 SNAP matching up to $30 — giving SNAP customers a total of $60 to spend on fresh food grown by local farmers.

Increasing food security for our neighbors, growing sales for local farmers, and building stronger markets and communities are the heart of BAV’s Market Match Fund! If these issues are important to you — please join us!
