Share your perspective in the #letstalkhiringDufferin conversation!

Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin invites community partners and employers to share their information and resources around hiring through short videos under the hashtag #letstalkhiringDufferin. Follow the hashtag and post your videos over the coming weeks to share resources and ideas to employers and jobseekers. The content depends on community input and is a test pilot of the concept.
Charlene Hofbauer of WPB kicked off the conversation in 2 videos released this week about hiring locally. She shares facts about our available workforce, how their perspectives have changed over the pandemic and, in the second video, even covered some starter strategies that local employers can use to hire.

The Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin completed Local Labour Market Consultations in November. We gathered a lot of information from you and others in the community. Now it is time to plan steps and actions based on the issues and priorities that we heard.

Register for your chosen session. Two days before your session, you will receive a document with the highlights and main issues from the November sessions. Use these to spark ideas that we can use to determine where actions are already being done, where new actions could be started or next steps can be taken to solve our challenges.”

Please, let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you very much for your help,
Kind regards,
Olga
