Wildcat Family,
The Richmond Hill Football Team is getting busy preparing for Spring Football. Our dedication and hard work are truly paying off, as evidenced by some remarkable achievements across the board.
Strength and speed are two crucial aspects of our game, and I'm excited to share that we are excelling in both areas. Here are some notable statistics:
Speed Development: We have a phenomenal 12 players who are consistently clocking speeds of over 20 mph. This is a testament to our commitment to enhancing our agility, explosiveness, and overall speed on the field.
Strength Improvements: An impressive 24 players are now squatting over 400lbs, showcasing their dedication to building lower body strength and power. Additionally, we have 9 players who have surpassed the 300lb mark on the bench press, demonstrating significant upper body strength gains.
We will test again the last week of this month and look forward to seeing continued improvements.
We will be involved on all fronts preparing for Spring Football, which will take place the first couple weeks in May. We invite you to come check out practice as we prepare for our first ever spring game versus an opponent, Effingham County, on the final day of spring drills.
Go Cats,
Coach Matt LeZotte
