SOLAR ECLIPSE NOTIFICATION

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As you may be aware, there will be a Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. The timing of the event coincides with school dismissal time. We are offering parents/guardians the option to pick up their child early from school on that day before the eclipse begins since it is difficult to prevent our students from looking up at the sun or to ensure they use protective eyewear.

BEYOND GRADUATION PROJECT

Are you looking for some fun activities for spring break? 

Here are two ideas:

LifeTown Shoppes - Friday March 29^th or Friday, April 5th. 

LifeTown is a fully accessible activity center in Livingston, and the Shoppes at Lifetown offer a fun, indoor main-street experience for people of all abilities. Please register in advance.  All ages are welcome, and an adult must accompany children.

Chair Yoga Class at Push to Walk in Montvale - Thursday, April 4^th  at 1pm.  The class is open to individuals ages 16 and above and is free of charge. An adult must accompany their child to class:

CTC ACADEMY GALA COMMITEE MEETING

Please join us on Wednesday, March 27th at 7pm for an evening CTC Academy Gala Meeting! All CTC parents are invited! This year marks the 30th Anniversary of CTC Academy's Gala and we are so proud of the work that our volunteer parent committee has been doing to make this the best event yet. Please join us to learn more about the event and ways that you can be involved. Today in CTC history! On this date in 1954, former CTC student turned lifelong supporter and advocate, Jack Heinzman was featured in The Bergen Record. Last year Jack was our gala honoree along with another longtime CTC supporter, board member and Jack's sister, Mary Ann Zino. Thank you both for all you have done for The CTC Academy!

CTC's luncheon to thank the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has grown into a celebration with other major donors and CTC Board Members.
