DEM Seminar Series - Hybrid
The DEM Seminar Series has returned to a hybrid model. RSVPs and 6' of distancing are no longer required. We encourage you to attend in-person if you can.

The conference room seating was reconfigured to accomodate for an updated capacity of 35 people. Food and drink not allowed as of today. The room policy is subject to change in accordance with guidelines set by UCSF and ZSFG.
Building 3 Seismic Work
In preparation for the SFDPH/ZSFG seismic upgrade project in Building 3, materials testing is being conducted on the 4th floor between 3/21/22-4/8/22. 

Due to saw-cutting & concrete chipping, some noise may occur between the hours of 8am-4pm during those dates. Earplugs are available upon request.

DEM Conference Room Split
The DEM conference room will be available for RSVP with a split (side A - larger, side B - smaller, whole room) moving forward. An email will be sent to your lab manager or PI to confirm the current assignment.
Cesar Chavez Day - UCSF Closed
Tomorrow, March 25, UCSF will be closed in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.
Vitalant ZSFG Blood Drive
On Thursday, March 31 from 8:00 AM-12:30 PM and Friday, April 1 from 11:00 AM-3:30 PM, Vitalant will have a blood drive at ZSFG in the Avon (Building 4) parking lot.

UCSF DOMINOs Program
DOMINOs (Department of Medicine Informal Networking Opportunities), a new DOM-sponsored program for faculty, staff, and trainees. DOMINOs was created to provide opportunities for in-person community building. DOM employees are welcome to join or host an event – with a goal of having many of them in your neighborhoods or other convenient gathering spots.

UCSF COVID-19 Information
UCSF COVID policies are quickly changing. Click the links for the UCSF Coronavirus website for the most up to date policies and guidelines.
Updated Guidelines for Meetings and Gatherings
Indoor meetings can resume. Staff must wear an isolation mask when indoors.

Attendees for indoor events is capped at 35 people. Maintaining 6' of distance is not required.

No food or drinks are permitted (per ZSFG) for indoor meetings.

Outdoor meetings with food and drinks are permitted. Staff may opt to wear masks when outdoors.
