Spring is in the air!

We hope you have been enjoying the warmth & sun as much as we have!

If you are a person that suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), hopefully you are seeing positive shifts in your mood with the sun and warm weather. Research shows that the sun and getting that daily vitamin D can help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety by increasing your serotonin. So if you haven't already, take 5-10 minutes to enjoy the outdoors today. And make sure you're putting on that SPF cause we ain't got time for sunburns and harmful UV rays!

Celebrating the month of March!

March is Self-Harm Awareness & National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

There are so many associations that can help inform what you can do! Here are 2 that can help you get started:

National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)

Lastly, we'd like to wish a happy International Women’s Day to everyone on our mailing list! CCAGA is so lucky to have empowering and inspirational women on their staff. Thank you for all you do!
