Hello, LES Global Community! LESI2022 (May 8-10 in Venice, Italy) is continuing to take shape and has been built around addressing how technology and the business of technology has changed – and why it matters for licensing professionals. We have now announced speakers for the core features of the program. It will include:
  • 4 State of the Industry Briefings -- one-hour, industry lead, expert panel discussions addressing the Auto Industry, Health Care, Telecommunications and Energy/Green Tech.
  • 16 Concurrent Sessions – continuing the discussing in the state of the industry briefing as well as sessions on Business Strategy/Monetization, Legal/Enforcement Issues, and Successful Tech Transfer.

Meanwhile, this week, our LESI Americas Committee is hosting a webinar on March 10 on Compulsory Licenses, Voluntary Licenses, and Waivers. Next week, LESI’s collaboration with EPO continues (on March 15) highlighting additional case studies in the High-Growth Technology Business Forum. Also, LESI’s Kids IP Day (on March 17) where we will be releasing materials you can use in your own communities to share and educate the young people around you on the importance of investing and supporting innovation and the impact on our lives. Have a great week!
