Introductions

Meet James...

It's so nice to hear from families of those we've helped. James is 20-years-old and was spinal cord injured in a motor vehicle accident. He has a T6 injury and discharged from the hospital at the end of last year. His father sent us such a lovely note.
We are sharing this note with everyone who helps us continue our mission.
Meet our Events Manager

Krista Morrison
Krista Morrison is a wife of 34 years, mother to 4 children, with 4 “plus” spouses/partners and 2 grand-loves at present! She is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a BS in Public Health, Health Education and Health Promotion. Raised in Texas, she has a love for Mexican food, country music, family time, and horses. Krista also has a background in culinary arts and nutrition, with certifications in both, and loves to teach others in her spare time, how to love food and create in their own kitchens with the same enthusiasm as she does.

Krista worked with Community Storehouse of Keller, assisting their volunteer program and the nutrition program with enhancements to better serve their clients. She also spent over 20 years with Keller ISD on PTA boards and other community groups within the Keller, Southlake, Colleyville communities, volunteering in various capacities.

Krista loves planning events and opportunities for others to come together, so taking on this new role as the Events Manager was a great fit to work with others to support the mission of NAF by bringing families and friends throughout the community together to assist others in need.

THANK YOU To Our Sponsors!
We Need Your Help
Donate ~ Sponsor ~ Volunteer
Your $25 donation will help provide clean catheters to a paralyzed child for one month when their insurance won't cover the expense.

Your $100 donation will help build a wheelchair ramp so we can get our clients out of rehab and through their front door at home.

Your $200 donation will help widen the doorways in their homes so their wheelchair can fit through the bathroom door. Insurance doesn't covers home modifications.

Your $500 donation will help provide life-changing medical equipment: wheelchairs and specialized shower chairs, etc. Most insurance only covers a small part of wheelchairs, if any, and no "bathing aids" are covered.
