In May, we said goodbye to Young Adult Librarian Lisa Quintero. Lisa has been a librarian at the Shorewood Public Library for the past 8.5 years. During that time, she established our Adult Graphic Novel Collection, expanded our Adult World Languages Collection, co-hosted the Shorewood Stacks Podcast, and worked with our Teen Advisory Board among many other projects.
"It has been a pleasure working with the Shorewood community. I have really enjoyed helping children and teens learn more about the things they are curious about, from coding to crafts. I will miss seeing everyone at the library each day - although you may still see me as a patron!"
Lisa will be going back to school this summer to pursue a new career in speech therapy. Please join us in wishing Lisa the best of luck on her next chapter!
