Salad Sunday with a Book

Again, this Sunday evening, we will spend time in our Circle sharing thoughts about a book selection during the first part of our time together. Then we will spend time sharing a pot-luck salad smorgasbord.

Everyone will be invited to bring along a bowl or platter filled with their favorite salad (feeding 6-8 folks), if possible. Then, drinks, a sweet, and all utensils will be provided.

Dr. Andy Crosland will lead our discussion for this Salad Sunday with a Book, and he has selected a short story by Flannery O'Connor: A Good Man is Hard to Find. We will make it digitally available just after the first of the year and if you don't have a computer or printer, we will have printed copies on request.

Weren't able to read or finish the short story in time? Unable to pull together a salad? Please join us anyway as our Circle is always incomplete when even one person is missing! Who knows, you might find inspiration from the discussion to carry-on and read the story!

Ways to Give to Central

We continue to be deeply grateful for continued support of the mission and ministry of Central Church. There are a few ways to continue to make offerings extremely easy.

  1. The US mail always works. We are at 233 North Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
  2. Contact the Financial Secretary to set up a recurring gift through an automatic bank draft.
  3. VANCO Mobile
  4. On the homepage on the church's website there is a "Give" link. Once you set up that app any additional gifts are as easy as one or two clicks.
