Ohhhh…the places they will go! OYC’s Miami Class of 2024 high school graduates celebrated this momentous occasion at a senior banquet hosted at the Rusty Pelican.

Surrounded by parents, as well as OYC Miami staff and Board Members, this remarkable event celebrated this pinnacle accomplishment in their life. Our students heard inspiring words from Tom Cornish and OYC’s founder Alonzo Mourning, who shared valuable perspectives and guidance for their future success.

Thank you Rusty Pelican for hosting this celebratory event, and thank you to the family, friends, and supporters who support, champion, and cheer our youth on.

Her lifelong endeavors align seamlessly with our mission, and her unwavering commitment to philanthropy has magnificently impacted countless lives.

Having the Duchess tour our building and see firsthand our work was an extraordinary honor that left us truly humbled.

Overtown Young Professionals (OYP) is a group of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 39. OYP exists to empower future leaders of our community to engage, connect and support the mission of the Overtown Youth Center. OYP members will serve as ambassadors to raise awareness about the transformational programs that provide youth and families the support necessary to bridge educational, social, emotional, and opportunity gaps that exist in urban communities.
