Daily Lenten Offering

Incline to me and rescue me speedily. Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me. You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead me and guide me, take me out of the net that is hidden for me, for you are my refuge.

—Psalm 31:2-4

Holy God, when I am upset everything appears that much worse. Come to me and pull me up from this pit. Steady my heart with your presence. Shelter my soul with your power. And plant a seed of compassion in me to recognize when others are lost in the churn. Amen.

Resurrection Day

Join us in the Sanctuary or online for Easter Sunday worship! We are excited to bring back the Flowering of the Cross. Come a little early to practice and participate in resurrection by placing a cut flower in the cross. Stay after worship for coffee hour and cascarones!

Use your slip of purple paper to write a sentence or two about what you’ve sacrificed. Did you give anything up for Lent? How did that fasting discipline shape new understanding of discipleship?

On Sunday, in addition to the Flowering of the Cross, we hope you will add your story as a link to our paper chain. Together, we practice resurrection and connection
