Hello everybody!
With the passing of Memorial Day and the last day of school, summer has symbolically arrived! Another annual marker of this season for priests is our Presbyteral Assembly, held this year at St. Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana. Fr. Tony, Fr. Quan, and I will be there next week from Monday through Thursday praying, learning, and gathering with our brother priests. On those days, we will have communion services instead of masses at St. Pats. Please pray for us as we will pray for you. Thanks!
We selected new Parish Council and School Board members over the weekend at the 11:00 a.m. mass. I want to thank the departing members of the Parish Council for their service, dedication, and great work. I am grateful to Vince Birk, Greg Bush, Kristy Greenwood, and Kim Mattingly. I also warmly welcome our new members: Jim Hafendorfer, Amy Sheehan, Mike Sutt, and Mary Temple. Likewise, my thanks goes to Jennifer Ratterman and Meredith Smith for their service on the School Board as I welcome Chris Kircher and John Lewellen as new members. I am excited for and look forward to working with these new members in the coming years. Thanks to all who were nominated for their willingness to engage and serve our community.

Prayers for Fr. Papi Reddy
We were notified on Monday that our friend, Fr. Papi Reddy from India, has Covid and is in the last stages of life, barring a miracle. He has visited St. Patrick over the years as part of our annual Mission Appeals and has developed lasting friendships with several of our parish families. Fr. Papi would like to thank the people of St. Patrick for their generosity over the years and ask for prayers during this difficult time.
