Government Affairs Committee
The Chambers' Government Affairs (GAC) is a great opportunities to be engaged with businesses and communities leaders who are interested in learning how state and local polices affect them.
Ambassador Luncheon
Ambassadors represent their companies and the Chamber at various functions such as Business after Hours and ribbon cuttings and have the opportunity to expand their business contacts. They serve as the Chamber's public relations team and act as official Chamber business promoters. We meet monthly to discuss how to best promote and support our businesses. First Friday Coffee

Flag Day
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Flag Day with us on June 14th. Seeing the giant flag fly in front of Grocery Outlet again was an incredible experience. Thank you to everyone on the Flag Day committee who helped to continue this tradition for our community!
Business After Hours at Eagle Mountain Casino
On June 16th, we had the privilege to be hosted at Eagle Mountain Casino for Business After Hours. Thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of this fabulous event! Next year, it will be held at their new location!

City of Porterville
It’s back and sure to be a blast! Parking passes are on now sale for the Freedom Fest taking place on July 2nd at the Porterville Sports Complex. The festival showcases an array of local vendors, a spray zone, a spectacular display of fireworks, and more. Bring out your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a summer evening with friends and family.

Gates open at 5:00 pm and the fireworks show starts at 9:00 pm. The cost of admission is per carload; $15 per pass in advance and $20 the day of. There is also a limited amount of preferred parking passes for $25. Passes can be purchased at the Parks and Leisure Services office, 15 E. Thurman Ave., Suite A. If your organization is interested in being a vendor or having an informational booth at the Freedom Fest, please visit their website for more details.
