The 21st International Congress of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring & Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT 2023) will be held 24-27 September 2023 in Oslo, Norway. IATDMCT 2023 will be the most important opportunity for experts in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology from the world to meet and discuss the innovations and problems in the field. The organizing committee cordially invites you to submit your abstract for the 21st International Congress of the IATDMCT to be held in Oslo September 24-27, 2023. Deadline for submitting abstracts: 15. April 2023.

At the 2023 IATDMCT Congress in Oslo, the venue for the 2027 Congress will be chosen.

Members interested in submitting a proposal to host the Congress must submit an application by July 31, 2023. The purpose of this application is to provide guidance for candidates and to facilitate the task of selecting the final site, for the Site Selection Committee. You may choose to submit the information required on the application form in a different format, but all questions on the form should be addressed. Very often a tourism office, conference centre, or hotel in the region can help you gather the information.

The February Issue of the TDM journal is now available https://journals.lww.com/drug-monitoring/Pages/currenttoc.aspx. There is a special issue in honor of Professor Charles E. Pippenger, the founder of our journal who passed away in 2021.

Dr. Pippenger founded this discipline of therapeutical drug monitoring (TDM) and was thus one of the pioneers of individualized medicine. In 1970, Dr. Pippenger established the journal, Therapeutical Drug Monitoring, which he introduced in the first edition with a now legendary editorial. Since 1993, the International Association of Therapeutical Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT) has bestowed the C.E. Pippenger Award, the field’s most prestigious award, in his honor.

The Communication Committee would like to inform the membership that advertisements for professional positions (Ph.D. and Post-Doc job opportunities) in the field of TDM/CT, will be published in the E-news instead of on the IATDMCT website.
