It's hard to believe we're celebrating 15 years of life-changing financial capability programming for teens in Milwaukee, throughout the state of Wisconsin, and beyond. Over this decade and a half, we've expanded and adapted to continue meeting the needs of teens and their communities, and we're so grateful for the support from all of you that made that possible.
To mark this milestone, we'll be spending the year asking friends, supporters, and stakeholders to share their thoughts on what's special about SecureFutures, its mission, and its impact. We had to start with a word from our founder, Lloyd Levin, whose vision was responsible for the creation of SecureFutures as Make A Difference - Wisconsin in 2006. Many of our mentors and coaches have become role models for our students, and in turn have been taught by these students that a new generation of role models is rising up to meet the need. If our organization has facilitated this movement, then we will have lived up to our name -- SecureFutures -- which will truly apply to our students, to our mentors, and to our community.
