On behalf of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC), Clark Street Special Service Area (SSA) #23 and Lincoln Avenue Special Service Area (SSA) #35, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) recently installed 50 new bicycle racks along Clark Street and Lincoln Avenue

On Thursday, June 1, there will be an in-person community meeting hosted by Marigrow, Inc., dba UMI, the applicant seeking a special use permit for a cannabis dispensary at the former Salt n' Pepper Diner location at 2573-81 N. Lincoln.

DePaul FEST is scheduled for Friday, May 26. No-parking signs are posted from 1000 to 1120 on Belden from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. to allow installation of fencing and tents.

There are also no parking in the same locations on Friday, May 26, from 8:00 a.m. - 11:59 p.m. for day of event setup, duration of the event, and breakdown.

There are migrants living and sleeping in the small lobby of the 18th Police District Station. Brad Kessler (18th Police Council District) is working with the 43rd Ward office to collect dry breakfast foods, like cereal and breakfast bars as well as milk and juice that do not need to be refrigerated.

Donations can be dropped off at the 43rd Ward office at 2525 N. Halsted.
