Enclosed is a copy of the Company’s Annual Report which will be mailed out to all policyholders soon. We’re giving you a chance to review this prior to it arriving in the hands of our policyholders. If you have any questions, please let us know.

 

Also enclosed is the Letter to Policyholders being sent with the Annual Report. Of particular note for agents in that letter is a reference to Ting and Meshify, which are loss mitigation devices we offer for free to our policyholders. We’ve asked policyholders to contact their agent if interested in obtaining these devices. 

 

If contacted, all you need to gather is just two simple things: a mobile phone number (which must be able to download apps) and an email address. Send that information to tim.koppenhaver@loudounmutual.com and we’ll get the policyholder signed up.

Ting is a smart monitoring service which helps detect fire hazards before they happen. Ting is a plug-in sensor that can monitor your entire home’s electrical network, watching out for silent hazards that can cause fires. If a fire hazard is detected, a notification and phone call is made to you to check the problem. And if there is an issue that needs attention, Ting will work with you to provide a licensed contractor and cover up to $1,000 to find and fix detected hazards.

 

Meshify is an easy-to-install 3-sensor kit designed to monitor your home 24/7 and alert you if there are any issues such as water leaks and significant temperature changes. If a problem is detected, you’ll be alerted with an SMS text, push notification, phone call, or email so you can take action.
