As one Baptist family rooted in Jesus Christ as Lord, we bear witness to the biblical truth that ‘if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it.’ Our brothers and sisters in Eastern Europe are suffering and need our prayers. Annual Gathering
July 10-15, 2022

We are eager to join together as a global family this July for worship, prayer, and fellowship. Register today and join us in prayer for the Spirit's anointing over this strategic gathering.
This week I traveled through Romania and am so inspired by the faith-filled way Baptist churches are sacrificially serving thousands of Ukrainians displaced by the war. It was also an honor for BWA Vice President Otniel Bunaciu and myself to meet with the Prime Minister of Romania, cabinet officials, and members of Parliament to talk about refugees, religious freedom, and positive engagement on the path to peace.
BWA Executive Committee Issues Official Statement
In conjunction with Executive Committee meetings conducted this month, the BWA has released a joint statement in response to the crisis in Eastern Europe. This is the first statement of its kind released by the Executive Committee in over 40 years. I invite you to read the full statement and join us in continued prayer for peace.

A Prayer

Oh sweet Christ,
draw us who are weak to you,
since we cannot follow you if you do not draw us on.
Give us a brave, resourceful spirit, and,
if the body is feeble, may your grace precede, mediate and follow,
because without you we can do nothing and we are nothing.
Give us resolute spirits, fearless hearts, true faith, firm hope and perfect love,
that we may patiently and joyfully lay down our lives for you.

(Prayer by John Hus)
