SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Mentorship Update

The mentorship committee started off in 2022 with the continuation of our Ask An Industry Leader series, with the initial one focused on "Managing Up, Down, and Sideways." On June 10th we hosted, "Remote Workforce Management" with a panel of healthcare IT leaders to share valuable tips & tricks, lessons learned, as well as a question and answer portion.

Just past June, we had a cohort of 8 pairs of mentor/mentees complete a year-long mentoring relationship and kick off a new cohort. Our next group will begin in October 2022. If you are interested in becoming involved in WHIT's Mentorship Program, please visit the Mentors page on our website to find out more. Be on the lookout for an upcoming Peer-to-Peer Mentoring series as well as an Advice Column later in the year.
