From the President’s Desk…
*****My car has green layer of pollen, and the air conditioner is kicking on more frequently. Yes, spring is here!
*****And with it, we have a very active season in the planning. This includes our Business in Springtime Expo on April 21. There’s more information below including an Early Bird special that’s running through March.
*****As our state Legislators conclude this year’s session, we’re coordinating a Session Wrap-Up Reception on March 24 with the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber. It will take place at the Cambria Hotel St. Petersburg-Madeira Beach. We’ll have the registration info out to everyone within the next week.
*****Our working committees are engaged on several fronts. Government Advocacy and Economic Development are holding a joint session this month to address the workforce housing dilemma facing our region. It’s on March 16.
*****And our Ambassadors Team is leading the way in Chamber growth and retention. This includes work on our “NEW & reNEW in 2022” membership campaign also under the direction of the Board of DirectorsWe’ll have much more about it in our E-Connection Membership Edition in a few weeks.

PSTA Returns to Full Service
The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority has returned to pre-COVID 19 levels of service on all routes. This includes the bus-on-shoulder program, where, if conditions are met, buses may use the shoulder to by-pass slow moving traffic on I-275 shoulders.
           Masks are still required for every passenger, regardless of vaccination status, in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines and federal law.
