Redeemer Youth News 3/24

This Sunday, March 27 :

Bags of Joy Youth Event 
12:15pm – 2:00pm  


The Redeemer Youth Group invites all Redeemer Families to join us in assembling Bags of Joy for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.  The Bags of Joy are care packages filled with food and essentials that our neighbors may need and we plan to assemble 150 bags in total.  



We are asking for the congregation's help in donating items to include in the bags.   The items needed are: 

Granola Bars Packs of Crackers 
Packs of Raisins  Small Bags of Nuts 
Small Bags/Boxes of Cereal  Adult Socks

Important - GYM SAFETY:

Climbing or hanging from the basketball hoop structure in the gym is very dangerous and is not permitted at anytime.

Please advise and supervise children who play in the gym.

ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
You are invited to join discussions of the role of Faith and the Bible in your daily life. You are welcome to join the class any week that you can. (Yes, we have Bagels!)
HS Class meets every Sunday at 9:45 in the Teen Center.

 Youth Choir rehearses:
Sundays at 10:55-11:25AM in Music Suite A (MSA) 
Next Yout Choir Performance: Sunday, 4/10

New members are always welcome!

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

CONFIRMATION RETREAT - Pastor Josh and PSK, will be taking the Confirmation Students on a confirmation retreat to Mar Lu Ridge, April 30 – May 1. Departure at 9 am on Saturday morning and return Sunday by noon. We will need parent chaperones, at least one male and two females. Please click here to sign parents up for chaperones and confirmation students to attend:

CONFIRMATION CLASS - We need parent volunteers for the confirmation class, every Sunday. If you are able to help please:

Faith Formation Classes (PreK-HS) are
meeting in-person, at 9:45 every week!


High School meets in the Teen Center.

Faith Formation classes for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades have returned to the classrooms that they were using before Christmas, along the hallway by the Santuary.

PreK, K, 1st and 2nd grades with continue to meet in the Pre-School rooms and the Pod.

 Please Note:

1.Class does not begin until 9:45,
please don't arrive before 9:40.
(the teachers come early to set-up and prepare) 
If you arrive before 9:40, you and your child are welcome to enjoy a snack outside the Crossroads or
with an adult supervising, play in the gym.

 2. Redeemer's HET has updated COVID policies.

We invite all of our parents to please talk with their child(ren) about this change in policy so they are prepared for the transition and understand what you expect them to do when in the church and specifically in the faith formation classes.
