Post Cards for Postpartum Coverage
When someone enrolled in AHCCCS gives birth, their coverage may expire just sixty days after their pregnancy ends. Sixty days is not much time to recover from childbirth. It means many people are forced to forego necessary postpartum health care due to the expense, which can be the difference between life and death.

Changes in federal Medicaid policy is allowing for states to expand postpartum coverage to a full year after pregnancy. Children's Action Alliance (CAA) is working to ensure AZ policymakers act on this opportunity.

Supporting this campaign is easy! Click here to send a personalized post card to your lawmakers to raise awareness of the need for postpartum AHCCCS coverage. Post cards need to be completed by this Friday, December 10th.

Thank YOU for your support. Click below for further details and facts from CAA.
