Detailed Info & Volunteering

FIELD DAY

Friday, May 19th

Our first one-day, full school Field Day is on FRIDAY! The day will end with our first ever KRS RAINBOW RUN. This is going to be so much fun but it will require a lot of help from our KRS parents and guardians! You might want to consider a day off from work for this one, it is going to be EPIC :)

Friendly reminder to dig through your drawers and look for your child’s KRS Spirit Shirt. Each grade has its own signature color. Don’t have the shirt? No problem, wear any shirt you have that color. The children will be given a white shirt in the afternoon at 2pm for the color run to wear over their spirit shirts.

Fun fact- One of many treasured KRS traditions is to get your classmates signatures on your Spirt Shirt on Field Day!

KRS Class of 2028: Kindergarten - Red

KRS Class of 2027: First Grade - Orange

KRS Class of 2026: Second Grade - Yellow

KRS Class of 2025: Third Grade - Green

KRS Class of 2024: Fourth Grade - Turquoise

KRS Class of 2023: Fifth Grade - Purple

Please have your child wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting stained. We encourage children to bring their lunch in a brown bag and to leave their backpacks at home on Friday.

KRS DIRECTORY

The KRS PTO has decided to collect information for a PTO directory for the 2023-2024 school year. The KRS PTO Directory is a helpful resource which includes student and family names and contact information. We want to get a head start and get as many current families as possible. In order to create our own directory, we need your HELP. We need your most up to date information to be included in the KRS PTO Directory.

Please respond via the Google Form link below if you wish to submit your family’s information. We can only include your information if you provide consent by filling out the form below. You only need to provide the information you would like to see in the directory. Please note that the directory is only available to families at KRS and we do not share your information.

Please note that you only need to fill out ONE form per family and you only need to fill out the form if you have a student returning to KRS next school year.
