Recently, students from the University of Oregon have been involved in research and design projects to stimulate conversation about housing options in Springfield. View their work below.
Housing Designs on Display at City Hall
Students in an advanced architectural design studio at the University of Oregon created
designs for housing developments during winter term of 2018. These designs are an academic exercise. They are not actual or proposed developments

Please come to the Springfield City Hall lobby, 225 Fifth Street, to view the designs and give your input to the students! The designs will be on display through April 2018, during open hours of City Hall. Your written comments will help the students as they continue to refine their concepts and designs throughout the rest of the school year.

The Springfield designs on display are:

The handbook was prepared by Marisol Cervantes, a University of Oregon student,  in December of 2017 through a comprehensive planning internship with the City of Springfield. Download online at bit.ly/MissingMiddleSpfld
