The 2021-2022 Vessels Elementary Turkey Trot-A-Thon

Join us as we have fun and raise money for our programs, all while running like turkeys! Get excited for this Friday, November 12! It will be the live streaming event of the decade!
Please make sure to sign up using the QR code provided on the flyer and help us raise money for our school and programs! Our fundraising goal is $40,000 this school year and we appreciate your support of our students and the Vessels PTA! With your help, we can continue to make our school the best place for our students to learn and grow!

Turkey Trot Schedule
We ask that grade levels wear the following colors the day of the event:

  • Kindergarten - yellow
  • First grade - blue
  • Second grade - red
  • Third grade - green
  • Fourth grade - purple
  • Fifth grade - light blue
  • Sixth grade - tie-dye

The benefits of reading with your child daily are vast and help to give children the confidence and skill to become better readers with each story. Vessels Core Values

Health Reminders

We encourage families to follow health and safety practices in accordance with the California Department of Public Health and the Orange County Health Care Agency:

  • If your child has symptoms related to COVID-19, please make sure they stay home and get tested if necessary. 
  • Please keep them home from school if they exhibit the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
  • If a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19 or is awaiting test results, please do not send your child to school and notify the Vessels front office. 
  • Limit close contact with people who are sick, and avoid sharing food, drinks, or utensils.
