Our club’s Christmas party on December 3rd was simply amazing and fun! I had the pleasure of assisting our Special Events Coordinators, Terri Lyn Alexander and Peggy McGinness in the planning process and execution of the room theme decor. The table displays were well thought out and sold to attendees after the meeting. With the help of other members such as Nina Caron, Karen Juten, and Donna Mayfield helping the morning of, the fundraiser was a success! You ladies are so generous in blessing the 3 pregnancy centers and children receiving the tables full of toys! I’d like to recognize a few other members who are always behind the scenes working to make the rest of us shine… Carol McDonald, Carol Fogle and Mary Smothers! These ladies work in many capacities without hesitation. I am extremely grateful for you and ALL you do! In addition, I’d like to thank Nina Caron for taking the lead and stepping in as 1st VP in 2022. I’m also very appreciative of Janice Price, our 2nd VP of membership. She’s navigated through the changes with the Per Capita Reports made by CFRW and took responsibility for the accuracy of our membership.

2nd V.P. Membership Chair

Greetings to our SRWF Members from your Membership Chair

Happy Holidays to our delightful Members! It is almost time to Celebrate our upcoming 2023 New Year!  On behalf of our Sacramento Republican Women Federated, I would like to extend a warm welcome and a Happy New Year to all our members, your families, and your friends.

As the new year comes, my term of SRWF’s 2nd V. P. – Membership Chair is timing out! What a fun and wonderful opportunity I had to be your Membership Chair for the last year or so. By being your Membership Chair, first and foremost, I had a fabulous time getting to know our members, and there is no better way to meet our own Patriots than getting more actively involved and that is exactly what I did. Even though the duties of our Membership Chair took up many hours of my personal time, it was well worth it, and actually very rewarding to me. I want to thank, our President, Tabitha Gomez for her support and her direction. I want to especially thank Shelly Waggoner, our Treasurer for her awesome job during the last 2 years. Shelly has worked extremely hard to fine tune our Treasurer’s tasks and responsibilities and has contributed towards making my job a bit easier. Thank you, Tabitha and Shelly, for your remarkable job well done and your services to our SRWF members.

For our 2023 upcoming year, please help me welcome our new incoming 2nd V. P. Membership Chair, Amy Scherschligt. Thank you so much Amy for stepping up to the plate and volunteering for this extremely important position. Also, to assist Amy with her new job, please help me welcome Kim Durham for also stepping up to support in her new position as Membership Outreach Chair. Just know Amy and Kim, I am here to help you both, in your new endeavors on behalf of our SRWF Club. Throughout the last 2 years, I have laughed a lot, enjoyed our members, developed new relationships, and now have many new friends because of getting involved as SRWF’s Membership Chair. It is and was the best opportunity ever to get more involved!! Join me in getting more involved in our 2023 New Year! Thank you, Amy, and Kim, for jumping up to the forefront to be a part of our team. Ladies, PLEASE, remember, it does take TEAMWORK TO MAKE THE DREAM WORK!!! PLEASE GET MORE INVOLVED WITH OUR MEMBERSHIP!!!!!

It is time to renew your 2023 Membership! The grand news is the membership fee remains the same as 2022. To become a new member or to renew your 2023 Membership, the fee is $40; for our Associates (ladies who belong to another California Republican Federated Club in addition to joining our SRWF Club), their fee is $15; for our Affiliates, (gentlemen who want to be a part of SRWF), their Membership fee is $30 and for any students (under the age of 18 years old), their membership fee is $27.

If you have any questions regarding your membership, or receiving your SRWF’s Newsletter, please contact Amy Scherschligt at sacramentorwf@gmail.com.

THANK YOU AGAIN SRWF’S MEMBERS FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE BEING YOUR 2nd V.P. - MEMBERSHIP CHAIR

****Thank you and God Bless!****
