 Important Dates & Reminders

NOVEMBER 23 (Noon)-25: The NAIA national office, eligibility center and InCred are closed for Thanksgiving.


NOVEMBER 30: Eligibility center closed at 3 p.m. CT for staff development.


DECEMBER 1: ROA year-end report deadline. If you have questions or need to schedule a one-on-one data collection tutorial, contact Director of ROA Alan Grosbach.


DECEMBER 1: Fall 2022 PlayNAIA application cancellations. See the Eligibility Edge below for details.


DECEMBER 14: Deadline for transcripts to be received for students who need an eligibility center decision prior to the holiday closure.


DECEMBER 22-JANUARY 2: The NAIA national office is closed. The eligibility center and InCred will offer limited services for winter holiday.


JANUARY 3: All proposed amendments to the NAIA Constitution or Bylaws must be submitted to the national office via legislative@naia.org.

NAIA Launches "The Room" Speaker Series


"The Room" Speaker Series is in full swing. Join Dr. Katie Ervin, Park University student-athletes, and coaches as they get candid about how to lead a team on the court and in the classroom, leading through example, and paths to leadership. 

 

Episodes 2 and 3 will drop in December, so continue to encourage your conference and campus ASA/SAAC members to watch and follow along. To stay up to date on "The Room" follow @playNAIA on social media for bonus content and promos for upcoming episodes.

Do you know that prospective student-athletes can find and learn about your school on the NAIA website? Take advantage of this tool by keeping your school profile up-to-date.


Please review your web profile then go to NAIAHelp.com to make revisions. After logging in, use the link on the left navigation bar to access the form. For questions or help updating your school's profile, contact Tony Bybee.

The next lunch & learn for senior woman leaders will take place December 14 at 12pm Central. Betsy A. Cutler, M. Ed., President & CEO for the Cutler Wellness Program will talk about the importance of supporting mental health for both athletes and administrators. November is Native American Heritage, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. As we celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions and regalia of Native Americans, we have created resources and more cultural awareness of the only Native American university in the NAIA - Haskell University, Go here to learn more. With one of the largest and most diverse student populations in the country – and no on-site counseling center – Miami Dade College had a difficult time providing students with accessible, high-quality, and culturally-informed mental healthcare. In Mantra Health’s Customer Story, learn about the challenges faced by this sprawling community college and how Mantra worked with Miami Dade’s on-campus staff to build a comprehensive mental health program, complete with therapy, psychiatry, crisis care, and wellness content.
