Help Is On The Way
Last November, our Board of Commissioners announced the most comprehensive effort in the city’s history to help hundreds of thousands of customers that have been burdened by mounting unpaid utility bills as a result of the pandemic. Since the announcement, we issued $275 million in utility debt relief to 280,000 residential and commercial customers.

In addition to the state funds automatically credited to the accounts of eligible LADWP customers, there is still more help available including discount programs for income-eligible customers, rebates, and flexible and extended payment arrangements!

If you’re facing financial hardship and need help paying your bill, reach out to us.

We can help.
Women's Power Walk
In celebration of Women's History Month, we held our first Women's Power Walk, where over 300 employees walked the 3.5-mile path at the Hollywood Reservoir. Along the way, attendees viewed historical photos of female employees at LADWP. The special event also featured a resource fair with information on current jobs and overall wellness.

City of Los Angeles’ Indoor Agricultural Farm Yields First Kale Harvest
Councilmember John Lee of Council District 12; Nancy Sutley, our Senior Assistant General Manager of External and Regulatory Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer; LAPD Devonshire PALS, and PALS youth came together to harvest several bushels of kale produced by the City of Los Angeles’ newly-installed indoor farm. The indoor farm, housed inside a shipping container, is located in Northridge at the LAPD Devonshire PALS center, which provides after-school enrichment programs for local youth. The youth help maintain the farm and help with harvesting the produce to donate to local community-based organizations. This LADWP-EPRI pilot project, with the support of Council District 12 and LAPD Devonshire PALS, provides an environment to grow and harvest vegetables year-round in any climate for the benefit of the community.
