Peoria Park District Asks for Public Input on New Upper Bradley Park Art Installation

PEORIA (February 20, 2024) – In 2020, after a lengthy public input process, the Peoria Park District removed the Christopher Columbus Statue in Upper Bradley Park. After receipt of a community request to replace the statue, the District is seeking input on the placement of a new art installation at the same location along Parkside Road.  Its Board of Trustees have selected three options for public feedback.

Input will be accepted at two upcoming “Talk About It Tuesday” events on February 20th and February 27th, both from 5pm-6pm at the Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park District Administration. A zoom link is listed below for a virtual attendance option.

Public Input can also be e-mailed to ppd@peoriaparks.org
