Daily Announcements

  • Hey Central! This Friday is Official Kindness day! To celebrate, teachers and staff will be giving out raffle tickets to anyone "Caught being kind" during the day! Write your ID number on the ticket and drop it into the Kindness box by Mrs. Phillip's office. Winners will be announced on Friday and can pick out their prizes. Kindness matters! You matter!

  • Women in Engineering are meeting today after school in room 188 until 4pm. See you there! Questions? See Mrs Fariss or Mr Breig in the science department. 

  • Thursday February 16th is the Winter Jazz Concert at 7:00pm in the Auditorium. Please come and hear our talented Red Devil Jazz Bands perform.

  • Bundt Cakes are Back! Solstice Art and Literary Magazine is hosting a Nothing Bundt Cake sale AFTER school on Friday, February 17th! Five dollars per cake and proceeds go toward publishing artists and writers in this year's magazine.

  • There will be an open pool for boys and girls water polo on Sunday, February 19 from 1:30-3:30. This is open to all students who are interested in playing this spring!

  • Interested in playing girls softball this spring? Please come to the tryout informational meeting on Monday, February 20th at 3:15pm in the main gym balcony. Contact Coach Zust or Coach Varsbergs with questions.

  • There will be a Badminton Interest Meeting on Mon. Feb. 20 at 3:15pm in the Orchestra Room.

  • If you are interested in trying out for the Girls Lacrosse team, there will be a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, February 22nd in Room 216. For more questions, please contact Coach McNiff.

  • Parent/Teacher conferences will be Thursday, March 2nd, 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

  • Attention Seniors and Juniors! There will be a field trip to the College of DuPage on Tuesday, March 14th. If you are a senior planning to attend next year or are a junior who may attend after you graduate, this opportunity is highly recommended so that you can tour the campus and learn about the application process and other opportunities. A maximum of 60 students can attend, so please pick up a permission form in the Counseling office and return it to Mr. Aurich no later than Thursday, March 2nd. There will be no cost for this field trip.

  • Are you someone who likes to help others? Are you interested in meeting new students from all over? Apply to be an Ambassador. Applications are available.  Scan the QR code on the posted fliers, or find the link on the Activities web page under Ambassador Club description. Don't miss the March 2 deadline to apply.
