What a beautiful day was today In Rockport!

So nice that I grabbed my laptop and headed to the beach to finish this newsletter to you all.

If you follow my Facebook, the last couple of weeks, have been very difficult with my recovery front on elbow surgery, so forgive my spelling and short words.

David and I attended Spears & Co awards & celebration within 48 hrs from my procedure but I'll say would not miss it, as we are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to have Alissa and Sam Spears's leadership and to celebrate their deserved success!

And thank you, each one of you who trust us with your real estate journey in 2023, we are looking forward to make 2024 the best and stay tuned for wonderful news soon!!!!

LaMardi Gras – February 9-10, 2024, Friday 5 pm – 11 pm, Saturday 10 am – 11 pm, This festival features food, fun, entertainment, a parade, and more on Lamar Peninsula, benefitting the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department. Freedom Raffle February 10 at 9 pm.

Parade: Saturday, 2/10/24, 11am, route is 1 mile starting from old fire station 224 Hagy Dr. to new station located at the corner of Bois d’ Arc & 12th Street. Entry is free. 

1- Learn about “The Secret Lives of Native Plants” on February 4, at 2:00 pm at the History Center for Aransas County. Master Naturalist Leslie Albrecht is the speaker. The talk enhances the current exhibit Healing Hands: Healthcare in Aransas County at the History Center, 801 E. Cedar St., Rockport. 20 native plants in the garden are identified with signage. In the exhibit gallery, learn about the doctors and druggists who served the County through the years, as well as about epidemics, wellness, and the quarantine station in Aransas Bay. A Plant Exchange is held on the 2nd Saturday of the month, 10-12 AM co-sponsored by Keep Aransas County Beautiful. 

2- Our Master Gardeners propagation workshop is scheduled for February 24, 2024, 9am – 12pm. The fee is $25 and Master Gardeners can earn 3 CEs. You can sign up through our store https://aspmgstore.org/. Seating is limited!
