#ThrowbackThursday:
Black History Month Photo Project
For Black History Month, the Intercultural Student Engagement Center partnered with the Division of Communications and Marketing for a special #ThrowbackThursday project to recreate photos featured in the Talisman in the 1970s and 1980s. Original photos of notable moments and campus life include WKU’s first Black female basketball player, WKU’s first Black student regent, student groups on campus, and academic and campus life. A special thank you to all of the students, faculty, and staff who worked to bring this project to life. All black and white photos were made available through the WKU Talisman archives; 2023 photos by Clinton Lewis, WKU Communication and Marketing.
