Looking Forward
This Sunday is the third of the great Epiphany readings consisting of the coming of the Wise Men, the Baptism of Christ and the first miracle at Cana. The transformation of the water into wine is a sign that calls us to faith in Jesus.

In these challenging times we desperately need to place our full faith in the Lord’s grace. Thank you for continuing to observe our current Covid restrictions, as frustrating as they may be, and have faith that God will transform these present circumstances.

Many important events are taking place in the next few weeks. On January 30th we will hold our annual meeting. Sadly, we must do so via Zoom. Please watch for further information.

We also announce that we will say farewell to Mary Sanchez as our Office Administrator who will retire this month after many years of faithful service. We thank Mary for her ministry among us. You are invited to bring cards, notes, and a love offering in thanksgiving for Mary. Please mail them to, or leave with, Elaine Mistele in the office at 2200 Via Rosa, PVE, CA 92074.

We hope and pray that current restrictions will be of short duration. Please continue to pray for St Francis as we seek the way in the future God has prepared for us.

Military Outreach News - Thank you!

Wow! Thank you for all your help!

Everyone has given so much! We sent 15 gift cards (at $25.00 each card), along with toys, kitchen equipment, children’s clothes and bedding to support Camp Pendleton Mothers and Children.

Our Military Outreach program, led by Susie Zimmerman, and with the generous support of many of you, has a long tradition of packing gift boxes for military deployed overseas, however, in recent times the number of deployed military has decreased, so we are happy to announce that we have this new Outreach cause.

Our next Outreach will be coming in April.
