Social Concerns Committee:
THANK YOU to ALL who took the time to sign or write letters to our U. S. Senators and Representative after worship services on April 26, 29, and 30. Many of you probably took the letter packets with you to sign or compose at home. If so you may stamp and mail them yourselves or you may bring them back to FLC and deposit them in the box so marked at the Welcome Center, and they will be counted, stamped. and mailed with the rest of the letters. If you did not receive a letter packet
you may pick one up at the Welcome Center or refer to your May Ambassador for a sample letter, or for directions re how you can access information to email your message to our Senators and Representative. The focus of our letters is on the reauthorization of the Farm Bill, which impacts all of us, since it deals with both farm policies and nutrition programs. The letters give each of us an opportunity to impact decisions which affect us al!
