A Message from the Head of School
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and the board of trustees, I would like to wish everyone blessings and joy this thanksgiving! May God bless us all as we give thanks for his grace and abundance.

Frank Sawyer
Congratulations to Jonathan Current,
one of our seniors who
was recognized during the Annual Boys State Recognition Dinner last night for his attendance at the 2021 Palmetto Boys State encampment, which was held during the summer at Anderson University from June 13 - 19, 2021. According to the website, “the American Legion’s Boys State program is a unique way for young men to learn about the American system of government and politics by participating in a mock governmental system.” For any male student who is currently in his junior year, applications will be available in March, 2022. For more information, contact Dr. Pontoo, Director of Admissions and College Guidance.
Successteam’s Night of Champions,
an annual gala celebrating community efforts and achievement took place on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Rosemary English, former Aiken County School Board member and educator, was honored as the 2021 Influential Innovator along with Dr. Jason Holt, Principal of Aiken High School, who was honored as the 2021 Advocate for Education. Founded in 2015 by Tim Behling, Successteam is a nonprofit organization that caters to youth between the ages of 13 and 18 years by exposing them to community outreach programs and leadership opportunities. Pictured with Mead Hall students, Bryona Bibbs, Zalyric Singleton, and Destini Trowell, is one of the event attendees, Gail Diggs, Aiken City Councilwoman for District 1.
