Housing instability is a public health crisis in the United Stated and globally. On January 25, CSU Law student organizations, The Housing Impact Project (HIP) and The Student Public Interest Law Organization (SPILO) will host a Housing Panel intended to:
- Open up a discussion raising awareness on housing issues that people are facing,
- Community-driven solutions implemented by nonprofit organizations,
- How we can take action to support the efforts nonprofit organizations are working hard to provide, and
- Networking opportunities with professionals who work in the housing/public interest sector.

Boston Mills Ski Trip

Boston Mills Ski Resort
Join Recreation Services for skiing or snowboarding at Boston Mills Ski Resort! The resort is located at 7100 Riverview Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264. Transportation and lift ticket included. Rentals and/or lessons are not provided in trip price. Trip leader can teach snowboarding to new snowboarders. This trip is open to CSU students only.
Cost: $10 for students. Ski and snowboard rentals are not included. Food is not included. Meet at 3:15 pm at the CSU Recreation Center main lobby if you will be getting transportation. Meet at Boston Mills Brandywine at 4 pm if you are driving yourself. We will return to the CSU Recreation Center at approximately 9:30 pm.

The City is Our Campus will be offering students FREE tickets to a Cleveland Cavalier’s game versus the Los Angeles Clippers on January 29th at 7:00pm at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse! There are 36 available tickets for this event.

CSU Clinic Closed January 22 - 26
From January 22 through January 26, the on-campus CSU Clinic will be unavailable for in-person services. During this time, students can use the following MetroHealth locations:
- Ohio City Health Center, 4757 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102
- Broadway Health Center, 6835 Broadway Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44105
To schedule an appointment for a non-acute/sick visit, students should call 440-592-1900.
Public transportation is accessible at both locations. Alternately, shuttle transportation can be arranged by calling 216-778-5258.
Starting January 29, the CSU Clinic on campus will be available again for in-person services. Students can schedule an appointment at the on-campus health center by calling 440-592-1900.

Grab a Bite to Eat with President Bloomberg
In an effort to have more conversations on a regular basis, President Bloomberg will be hosting monthly meals with students. For each meal, she will invite a small group of students along with a staff member from the President’s Office. During these meals, she simply want to get a chance to learn about you, what brought you to CSU and what’s on your mind. Each group will consist of students from different academic programs and colleges. She wants you to have a chance to hear from students with experiences different from your own.
If you are interested in attending one of these meals, please click here to complete the interest form. Your name will be entered into a drawing to be invited at a later date. And to accommodate your schedule, President Bloomberg will be hosting meals at different times of the day. When you complete the form, please indicate which meals best fit your availability and class schedules.
